Welcome aboard

You're set up with RiskDesk.

Five short steps and every trade you take from here will be sized to a number you chose deliberately — not one you guessed under pressure.

Your first five minutes

Work through these in order. Steps 1 and 3 are the ones that matter most.

1

Set your risk profile

Open Settings and enter your account size, base currency and the percentage of the account you are willing to risk on a single trade. Every position size RiskDesk calculates is derived from these three numbers, so get them right first.

2

Connect your broker

cTrader connects directly — authorise once and RiskDesk reads your live account balance and open positions. For MetaTrader 4 or 5, install the RiskDesk Expert Advisor on your chart and it will link through the bridge.

3

Size your first trade

In the Analyser, enter your intended entry and stop-loss. RiskDesk returns the exact position size that puts your chosen risk percentage — and no more — behind the trade, along with the R-multiple at your target.

4

Arm a Smart Shield

A Shield watches an open position and alerts you when your risk conditions are breached, so you are not the last to know. Arm one on your first live trade to see how it behaves.

Log the trade

The Journal records the setup, your reasoning and the outcome. It is the part traders skip and the part that compounds — after thirty entries you will see patterns you cannot see trade by trade.

Get the RiskDesk brief.

Release notes, new features, and the risk-management workflows we see working across the desk. A couple of emails a month at most — never a daily blast.

Double opt-in — we send one confirmation email and nothing else until you click it. One-click unsubscribe in every email. We never sell or share your address.

If you get stuck

Everything below is a real human or a real guide — not a chatbot.

RiskDesk is software for analysis, risk management and education. It is not investment advice, and it does not place trades on your behalf without your explicit instruction. Trading carries risk of loss.
